Bad Light
The 'Pumpkin' Demo photos provide a stark example of extremely poor light. The
only light source is from the pumpkin itself and is nearly a single color. Even
with the color error dropping from 54 to 28, there is simply not enough colors
in the spectrum, other than orange, to perform the analysis.
So, while such photos can be artistic and entertaining, true color balance
correction loses its meaning.
