What about using the UnSharpen Mask ?
- An unsharpen mask can sometimes improve images with high-contrast edges
though the effect dependes on the subject; natural subjects benefit more.
- But, can an unsharpen mask improve clarity ?
- No. Edges might look 'crisper' but image clarity is not improved.
Rememver, information lost cannot be recovered.
- So, an unsharp mask is not the answer ...
