What about the effect of Aperature ?
- Aperature affects Depth of Field and exposure time.
- With all other settings held constant, these images show the effect
of changes in Aperature. With careful focusing, flat paper isn't an issue.
However, long exposures can suffer from vibration so these tests were
performed using a tripod.
- The Aperature's effect on clarity is small but f-8 appears to
improve the contrast a little.
- So, aperature is important but ...
