How about TIF vs RAW ?
- The original 400x400pix TIF image was printed in high resolution
and then that print was photographed at the same distance as
all the other tests. This photo-crop is the same (60%) 54x54pix size.
- The first photo is a camera-RAW [9.9MB] image and the second photo is a
camera-SFine JPEG [2.4MB] image.
- Clearly, both images are worse than the JPEG reference image
so default camera-RAW alone is not the answer.
